MIDI DRONE
The device is intended as a
particular midi note and control change generator. Through
its classic MIDI OUT connector it can be connected to any
hardware synth equipped with a MIDI IN port or to the
computer via a sound card with MIDI IN (a mini usb out midi
port is also provided on request for now) to use it with any
musical software or VST Plug In, like the exclusive ones
made by me that I include with the MIDIDRONE (Windows only).

These are two independent mononote
arpeggiators that can reach high speeds to create almost a
continuous sound, like drones, from any midi instrument, but
they can also be slowed down to create interesting rhythmic
patterns. Obviously, for each arpeggiator you can control
both the speed and the desired note via the potentiometers.
In practice there are 5 buttons and 10 pots. The buttons,
from left to right, control the on/off, the slow or fast
mode, the PANIC button (to stop any execution temporarily)
and then there are the program changes down and up, to
change patches on the synth directly from the MIDIDRONE .
The first 5 pots control note1, note2, speed1, speed2 and
finally PitchBend. The other 5 are simple controllers that
can be assigned to anything from control changes 23 to 27.
Works in MIDI channel number 1.
